Hunza is the crown jewel of the ultimate vacation one can take in Pakistan. Best enjoyed in all 4-seasons, when it is not rushed, spending several days in the valley.
Hunza is located in the upper Gilgit-Balitistan region, surrounded by majestic snow-covered mountains, flowing rivers, enchanted lakes, glaciers, lush green meadows, and a rich and distinct heritage. One can also purchase precious gems in their raw or finished forms, local handicrafts and woodwork, and handmade woven carpets.
The climax of the journey is the final dash to Khunjerab Pass, which borders China. At 16,000 feet, it is one of the highest metaled roads.
Spring and autumn are the most beautiful seasons in Hunza. In March/April, the valley turns pink when cherry blossoms bloom. Fall is when Hunza is on fire, with leaves burning orange and red. Summer is peak tourist season, when many travel, while winters are harsh, dry, and cold, with heavy snowfall on the mountains and the valley.
rOaD.lEsS.tRAvELEd recommends this trip is planned over eight days or more to fully experience the flavor of the valley, but can be customized according to your preference.

Travel – As we go into side valleys, the track will be a winding road, and some may feel motion sickness.
